November's Purpose: GRATITUDE. Join us for a letter writing campaign. We will reflect on the people and places that matter most and write thank you letters. Life can get so busy that we sometimes lose sight of the small things and the impact of small gestures. Stationary, pens, and hot tea will be provided.
Take your yoga off the mat, join in your community, and gather to create with purpose. Each month will focus on a different theme and activity guided by Jennifer May.
This activity is great for families with kids old enough to participate in a seated activity for approximately 30 minutes (and for babywearing). This event and venue are not geared toward toddlers and littles but keep an eye out for future projects.
I earned my degree in Visual Art Studies from University of Texas, Austin. I was an early childhood educator for ten years then moved to the field of special education for the past eight years. I worked for Seattle Public Schools and I am currently an ABA therapist working with and supporting families experiencing life on the Autism Spectrum. I have continued my art with various showings in Seattle bars and coffee shops. Since entering motherhood my art has taken new forms. As I welcome back my creative power, I am excited to see where it leads.
I am a student of Buddhism and hungry for modalities that promote compassion and healing. I’ve been practicing Reiki for the past five years and have been receiving the benefits of hands-on healing for the last decade.
I am coming back into my body post the early mothering years and reuniting with my yoga. I appreciate authentic conversation and yearn for true community in our every day lives.
